SGR-28 Declarations of Conformity
Resin Built for Reliable 3D Printed Surgical Guides
Biocompatible* and CE Marked
SGR-28 is Class I CE marked as a medical device and has been tested in accordance with EN ISO 10993-1 as non-cytotoxic, non-sensitizing, and non-irritating.
*Following validated procedures provided in IFU
Dimensionally Stable Guides
SGR-28 prints with the dimensional precision drill-path positioning needs. Low shrinkage holds guide geometry from printing through use.

Autoclave-Ready for Clinical Use
SGR-28 withstands steam sterilization when you follow the validated drying and sterilization steps, so guides can go straight from the autoclave to the surgery.

Flexural Strength That Resists Breakage
SGR-28 has a flexural modulus of 2.47 GPa and flexural strength of 80.7 MPa (ISO 178), giving surgical guides the rigidity to hold a drill path steady through surgery. That strength pairs with a Shore D 85 hard surface, so guides resist flexing and breakage during handling.

Low Water Absorption for Consistent Performance
When submerged in water for 24 hours SGR-28 absorbs only 0.4% of it's weight, so the guide's dimensions and mechanical properties stay steady whether it's fresh off the printer or has spent time in a humid operatory.

Works With the Printer You Already Have
Built for printers with light source between 385 nm and 405 nm, like: Asiga, Formlabs, Phrozen, Elegoo, Prusa, and similar machines. Starting settings are on our 3D printing settings page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I prepare SGR-28 dental surgical guides for autoclave sterilization?
For all the manufacturing steps see the SGR-28 application guide for full instructions.
Which resin trays work best with SGR-28?
FEP, NFEP, PFA, ACF, HDF, and similar film-based resin trays give the best results with SGR-28. This is a one-time setup choice when you configure your printer.
Does SGR-28 accept metal or polymer guide sleeves?
Yes. SGR-28 is designed to accept both. We recommend a 0.04 mm offset from the sleeve, kept as tight as possible while still allowing the sleeve to press in cleanly. If the sleeves don’t fit, review your design offset and printing settings, then reprint the guide rather than forcing the sleeve in, since that can crack it. Contact us at support@ameralabs.com if you need help.
What 3D printers work with SGR-28 dental resin?
SGR-28 is compatible with most 385–405 nm resin printers, including Anycubic, Phrozen, Elegoo, Formlabs, Prusa, and Asiga. Check the initial 3D printing settings for your printer.
