In Plain English
AmeraLabs is owned and operated by Labsamera MB. It is our policy to create awesome products and we hold all our customers and prospects in high regard. We will never do anything to cheat you or deceive you, we will not spam you or spy on you and we will never share your information with any third party. We’ve done our best to present all information on this site accurately and all the testimonials are real testimonials from real people. Basically, we’re an honest business and we’d be glad to tell our grandma (or yours) about everything we do, as we have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. Below, there’s a whole bunch of lawyer-speak, which is designed to cover our asses in every possible way, in case someone gets it into their heads to sue us.
Introduction
AmeraLabs (“we” or “us”) values our visitors’ privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) summarizes what information we might collect from a visitor (“you” or “users”) to our website (the “Site”), and what we will and will not do with it. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that AmeraLabs does not control, nor by individuals not employed or managed by AmeraLabs. If you visit a Web site that we mention or link to, be sure to review its privacy policy before providing the site with information.

We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes if you have given us your permission. If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at support@ameralabs.com.
How we use collected information
We collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To improve customer service. Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
- To improve our Site. We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
- To process transactions. We may use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
- To deliver personalized results from our tools and calculators. When you use interactive features on our Site, we use the information you submit to generate your personalized estimates, calculations, or other results.
- To fulfill download requests. When you submit a form to download resources from our Site, we use the information you provide to deliver the requested resource and, where you have given consent, to follow up with relevant content.
- To send periodic emails. The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send information and updates pertaining to your order. It may also be used to respond to your inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or you may contact us via our Site.
- To provide marketing communications you have consented to. Where you have given your explicit consent — for example, by checking the marketing opt-in box on our interactive tools, download forms, or other forms — we may use your contact information and the business data you provided to send you personalized product recommendations, special offers, educational content, and other marketing communications relevant to your needs. You may withdraw this consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Consent — When you opt in to receive marketing communications or submit information through our interactive tools with the marketing consent checkbox selected, we process your data based on your freely given, specific, and informed consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Contractual necessity — When you place an order or create an account, we process your data as necessary to fulfill the contract between you and AmeraLabs (e.g., processing payments, delivering products, providing order updates).
- Legitimate interest — We may process certain data based on our legitimate business interests, such as improving our website, analyzing aggregated and anonymized usage patterns, and preventing fraud. We ensure these interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation — We may process your data when required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal proceedings.
Data collected through interactive tools, calculators, and download forms
Our Site offers various interactive tools (such as calculators, configurators, and estimators) and downloadable resources (such as calibration parts, guides, templates, and other files). When you use any of these features, you may be asked to submit a form with some or all of the following information:
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title.
- Business and operational data: depending on the tool, this may include industry, number of 3D printers, printer models or types, resin consumption volumes, current costs, and any other business-related information relevant to the tool’s purpose.
How this data is used:
- To deliver the results, calculations, or files you requested.
- To understand your needs so we can follow up with relevant product recommendations — only where you have given explicit marketing consent via a separate opt-in checkbox on the form.
- In aggregated and anonymized form, to improve our products, pricing, and services.
Consent for marketing follow-up: Submitting any tool or download form to receive your results or files does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications. Where marketing follow-up is offered, a separate, clearly labeled consent checkbox is provided on the form. Marketing emails will only be sent if you actively check this box. You may unsubscribe at any time.
